LA PALOMA
LOCATION: COUNTRY CLUB OF LANDFALL, WILMINGTON, NC, USA
ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN: CRAFT
This French country–inspired home blends timeless elegance with the coastal vibrance of its setting on the Ocean Course of the Country Club of Landfall, in the community of Landfall. The plan harmonizes public and private spaces, orienting courtyards and a pool toward an expansive golf course and water view.
The arrival sequence is one of the home’s most intentional elements. Steel front doors offer a secure, refined threshold. A glass connector links the living space to the sleeping space, creating a layered experience with controlled interior views and diffused natural light.
The interior reflects a functional and relaxed aesthetic, ready for entertainment or relaxation. Design choices are rooted in organic materials and tonal richness.
Lime-washed walls, plastered range hoods, and European oak floors pair with antique lighting and custom ironwork, curating a space that is both luxurious and welcoming.
The palette is warm and natural, allowing texture and craftsmanship to glow.
The outdoor living spaces are designed as a natural extension of the home, where interior and exterior boundaries dissolve into one continuous experience. Thoughtful sightlines, material continuity, and a restrained palette allow each space to unfold with ease, creating an environment that feels both open and grounded.
